Planning Boards are local review boards. They help towns navigate real estate law questions at the municipal level.

Some of the matters Planning Boards hear include:

  • Subdivision proposals
  • Planned business districts
  • Commercial and industrial site plans
  • Planned village developments

A planning board may also review and update zoning ordinances, subdivision regulations, and comprehensive plans. In some communities a planning board makes recommendations to the town council on proposed zoning ordinances and zoning map amendments.

Our attorneys have appeared before Planning Boards across Rhode Island.  Put our experience to work for your real estate law matter.  Call today (401) 294-4555
